In Rajasthan, there is a national park called Ranthambore. The Tiger is at the top of the food chain in this national park’s diverse fauna. Leopard, caracal, fishing cat, and jungle cat are examples of other big cats. Other creatures include the desert fox, striped hyena, jackal, and sloth bear. 539 different species of flowering plants call it home as well. The park is also home to several crocodiles, Indian Pythons, Indian Chamaeleons, Ganga Soft Shelled Turtles, and Desert Monitor Lizards.
The most well-known bird-watching locations in India are Keoladeo Ghana National Park and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Over 370 species of birds, including herons, storks, cormorants, warblers, sauras cranes, babblers, bee eaters, bulbuls, buntings, Painted francolins, quails, Indian grey hornbills, peregrine, Imperial, spotted, and crested serpent eagles, among others, feed and nest in this small wetland, which is 29 square kilometres in size. Nilgai, Chital, Sambar, Jungle Cats, Fishing Cats, Civets, Jackals, and Striped Hyenas are among the animals in the sanctuary. It was also referred to as the Siberian Crane’s breeding grounds. The UNESCO has recognised Keoladeo National Park as a World Heritage Site.
